作者簡介
Marcia Lowe小姐係看守世界研究所（World Watch Institute）的資深研究員，專門分析都市運輸及土地使用之課題。她是看守世界研究所年度出版刊物〝State of the World〞五位作者之一。
她同時也是看守世界專題第98冊（World Watch paper #98）及第105冊（World Watch paper #105）等兩書的作者。第98冊之書名為Alternative to the Automobile : Transport for Livable Cities；第105冊之書為Shaping Cities：The Environmental and Human Dimensions. Lowe小姐擁有科技及能源管理方面之碩士學位，係得自賓州大學的城市及區域規劃系（Dept. of City and Regional Planning, University of Pennsyvania）。
